Domnick Cunningham & Yaffa Hires Michelle N. DeLong for Catastrophic Injury Practice

Domnick Cunningham & Yaffa, a national civil litigation law firm, is pleased to announce that Michelle N. DeLong has joined the firm’s nursing home, medical malpractice and catastrophic injury practice group.  Prior to joining Domnick Cunningham & Yaffa, Ms. DeLong worked with Carlton Fields Jorden Burt, P.A. where she gained invaluable experience primarily prosecuting fraud cases in federal courts across the nation.

Ms. DeLong is active in the community and a member of several legal and leadership organizations, including the Executive Women of the Palm Beaches (EWPB) and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL).  She currently serves as Co-Chair for the FAWL Journal and Co-Chair for the 34th Women In Leadership Awards (WILA), an annual luncheon that identifies and honors four exceptional women leaders in Palm Beach County each year and raises money to fund scholarships for deserving women in the local community.

Ms. DeLong received her Juris Doctorate magna cum laude from Nova Southeastern University.  While in law school, Ms. DeLong earned several merit based scholarships and was named the first place winner of the annual ABA Mendes Hershman Student Writing Contest for her law review article, “A Closer Look at the Mandatory Victims Restitution Act and Whether the Costs of a Corporation’s Independent Internal Investigations Should Be Included in a Criminal Defendant’s Mandatory Restitution Order.”  Ms. DeLong earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration cum laude with a major in Marketing from the University of Florida.
