Attorneys Jeanmarie Whalen and Nicole Kruegel Lectured at the American Association for Justice’s Annual Convention
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (July 17, 2020) – DCW shareholder Jeanmarie Whalen and attorney Nicole Kruegel spoke last week at the American Association for Justice Amped Up Virtual Event. This year, the annual convention looked a little different as it was held through using zoom, a virtual video platform, due to the impact of the coronavirus and the health risk physical conventions now hold.
Ms. Whalen spoke on July 14th for the Trucking Litigation CLE session on the topic of, “Critical Depositions in the Commercial Motor Vehicle Case-Getting the Documents, People, and Admissions Needed.” Ms. Whalen is a highly experienced personal injury attorney who specializes in trucking litigation; she recently served as Chair of the AAJ’s Trucking Litigation Group for the 2019-2020 term.
Ms. Whalen spoke again on July 15th alongside with Ms. Kruegel for the Women Trial Lawyers Caucus session on the topic of, “Tactics to use in Virtual Mediation and Settlement.” Ms. Kruegel is an active member of the AAJ is currently in the Litigating and Leading Through Crisis CLE Committee for the term 2020-2021. Ms. Kruegel is also a personal injury attorney; her practice focuses on victims of catastrophic injury and wrongful death.
