Fred Cunningham and Sean Domnick Awarded Highest Honors for Professionalism & Perseverance
(PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.) Fred A. Cunningham and Sean C. Domnick, named shareholders at Domnick Cunningham & Yaffa, received the highest honors bestowed by the Florida Justice Association (FJA) on Wednesday March 30, 2016. Mr. Cunningham received the Perry Nichols Award, the most prestigious award given by the FJA. The award was created in 1977 to honor an attorney whose perseverance, commitment, and unmatched dedication to the civil justice system is at the forefront of their lives. Mr. Domnick received the B.J. Masterson Award, established to honor an attorney who has served the legal community with the highest degree of ethical professionalism. The awards presentation was held at the World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida.
Mr. Cunningham and Mr. Domnick are Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyers with a statewide and national practice devoted solely to trial work. Mr. Cunningham has recovered over $350 million in settlements and verdicts for his clients and has dedicated his practice to collecting judgments from insurance companies who fail to settle valid claims. In 2014, he was inducted as a Fellow into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, an esteemed privilege that is limited to 500 active trial lawyers in the United States. Mr. Cunningham also serves as a Fellow of the American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel, an invitation-only group of 230 attorneys around the country.
Mr. Domnick specializes in litigating cases involving wrongful death, medical malpractice, product liability and nursing home abuse. His notable results have earned him #1 ranking on the Jury Verdict Round-Up “Top Medical Malpractice Verdicts of 2014” and the Daily Business Review “Verdicts Hall of Fame” Award in 2015. Mr. Domnick has a record of leadership born from his commitment to professional service. He currently serves as a Board of Governor for the American Association for Justice and Secretary of the Palm Beach County Justice Association. He has served on the Board of the Florida Justice Association since 1996 and is Past President of the Miami Dade Trial Lawyers Association.
