Michelle DeLong, Esq. Elected Chair, Florida Justice Association Women’s Caucus
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (June 20, 2019) – Michelle DeLong, a medical malpractice attorney at Domnick Cunningham & Whalen, was elected Chair of the Florida Justice Association (FJA) Women’s Caucus on June 14, 2019. As Chair, she will lead the Women’s Caucus in their mission to promote women trial lawyers through legislative and political action and in education programs.
Ms. DeLong’s leadership is a reflection of her work ethic and staunch commitment to FJA. She is the 2019 recipient of the FJA Shoe Leather Award, presented in recognition of outstanding legislative service, and was also appointed 2019-2020 Vice-Chair of the Medical Malpractice Committee. She also served as Co-Chair of the Advanced Trial Skills Seminar for the 2019 Annual Convention where she worked diligently to develop a diverse program that appealed to both young lawyers and seasoned litigators.
In addition to her FJA service, she currently serves on the Board of the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) and is the Co-Director of Sponsorship. Ms. DeLong is committed to the FAWL mission, and passionate about promoting reformation of the law to ensure that women are treated fairly and equally in the legal profession.
